“Carl, Thank you for your help and support in putting together an outstanding briefing session and workshops for the students on the Advanced Command & Staff Course (ACSC) 20, Means module earlier today. As you are aware, the students on ACSC represent the top 10% of officers across UK Defence including the Civil Servant and a wealth of distinguished foreign overseas students - future leaders! Tasked with a number of questions from Director Army Reform (2*), with help from: Karen Buckley; Andrea Jones; Steve Walton; and not forgetting Microsoft's 'Chief Envisioning Officer' Dave Coplin - today's visit to Microsoft UK has set them off in good stead. One of the students approached me as we left stating that today was one of their personal highlights whilst on ACSC for the approach, intellectual stimulation and relevance.
